Our hyperactive torby was just a little too lazy for a full day, and Sarah got concerned. We took her to the vet and had blood drawn. She could hardly move herself at all, she couldn't relieve herself, and had no appetite. It was obvious something was severely wrong. We took the day off and stayed up with her all night trying keep her comfortable. The next morning, the blood test results were back, and it was clear she had acute renal failure--her kidneys were shutting down. There was nothing that could be done to save her. We both were totally devastated. Kitty was by far, the coolest cat and one of the most enjoyable pets I'd ever known. She's going to be badly missed.
