She's been wanting to join in the wonderful world of food for sometime. We've held her off with her "o's" and cold teething toys and water glasses (both of the later only slightly worked). Now it's time for the real deal. She got her first taste of sweet potatoe...and life looked pretty sweet to her! She loved it. Our little baby is trying to grow up! (I might note that she was definitely a lady- she sat very properly and ate neatly. She had several screams of joy for 'more food' too!).

This time with Nana! We hiked, picnicked, played in the water and found a lake.

Here we are - but missing a few (sorry!!) I had sent out an evite and the people who's email addresses I didn't have - didn't get invites. :( In my dazed and confused pregnant state, I was a bit too flustered to try and track down numbers/email addresses to get everyone on the invite list before the day of. Next time word of mouth should do....

It was fun!

On the last day of our three day adventure we went to Discovery Park. Lucky for us we were surprised by Jay and Sarah as we were loading up...so they joined us! It was another beautiful day at a different beach. After a nice little hike of course. We hiked, played in the surf, bounced on a springy limb, Auntie Sarah helped Bug climb up the big rocks and look for fun creatures in the rocks. Then off to Ballard for din din! Nice end to a fun weekend.
